Rajinikanth's Coolie vs Jailer: Opening Weekend Box Office Collections Comparison

Chennai, August 18 - When it comes to the box office, superstar Rajinikanth is no stranger to rewriting history. In 2023, Jailer roared into theatres, amassing record-breaking numbers and cementing itself as a global blockbuster. Two years later, the legend has returned with Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, which opened to unprecedented hype and is already making headlines for its thunderous worldwide opening weekend.

The clash of these two milestones offers a fascinating look at how the superstar continues to dominate across generations. While Jailer stunned the industry in 2023 with its phenomenal opening weekend, Coolie has raised the stakes even higher in 2025 with the biggest weekend.
