Ajay Devgn's 'Drishyam 3' Locks Release Date

Mumbai, May 30 - Ajay Devgn is all set to return as Vijay Salgaonkar in the third instalment of the family crime thriller, Drishyam. Amid the months of speculation, the makers confirmed Drishyam 3 via Bombay Stock Exchange disclosure.

While the movie is currently in the scripting stage, the makers have already locked the release date. It is revealed that the highly anticipated blockbuster will be hitting worldwide theatres on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti 2026, on October 2.



The film will be produced by Panorama Studios in association with Viacom18 Studios. The shoot of the movie is expected to begin by the end of this year, and it will be directed by Abhishek Pathak with the rest of the cast set to return.

Currently, there is no other film scheduled on Gandhi Jayanti 2026, but there are rumours that superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "King" with director Siddharth Anand is also eyeing the same date. However, there hasn't been any official announcement regarding the same yet.

Meanwhile, the original Malayalam version of Drishyam 3 starring Mohanlal was also announced recently, but the shooting timeline is not set yet. It is said that both the Malayalam and Hindi versions might be different this time.
