UFC 265 Results: José Aldo Vs. Pedro Munhoz Full Fight & Winner

A Bantamweight bout between José Aldo and Pedro Munhoz takes place on August 7, 2021 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, United States.

1st Round: THe first round opens up as Aldo with quick shots to the body Munhoz staying light and probing with a low kick. Pedro Munhoz with a nasty knee. Aldo with a counter knee to the body as Munhoz jumps in.



Munhoz draws his jab right in Aldo's face. Aldo with a Right counter uppercut. Looks like a body shot followed by an Uppercut from Aldo. Munhoz answers with a right hand to close out the round.

2nd Round: Aldo with a quick Jab to open up the second round, Pedro Munhoz responded with his own Uppercut. Pedro Munhoz is opening a little bit more. A nice combo therefrom Aldo, Aldo has started making presence felt.

Munhoz eats a jab, then goes headhunting. Aldo keeps going to the body. The crowd is getting crazy, Pedro Munhoz lands an Inside low leg kick. Aldo is much more patience. Munhoz with a fast right hand on the button as he gets in and out. Aldo is having success with those Jabs.



3rd Round: It's time for the final round, Aldo with a right and left-hand combination and then sticks with the jab to control the distance. Stiff leg kick trips Munhoz, Aldo is out with a couple of punches as Munhoz recovers.

Aldo is so impressive in the final round, 30-27 Aldo.

Winner: José Aldo via Decision (unanimous) (30–27, 30–27, 30–27)
