The Genius of the Sky defended the NXT Women’s Championship against the dominant Raquel González — her opponent of choice — in the commercial-free main event Night 1 of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

At the end of the day, Raquel González dethroned Io Shirai to become the new NXT Women's Champion in her first reign. Several WWE superstars took to social media handle to react to the win.
