The Elite Pulled From Advertising For AEW’s Upcoming Pay-Per-View
Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks became the Trios Champion for the first time in AEW All Out on September 4, 2022. After becoming champion, things have been going great for them and they have had a wonderful time. However, later everything went haywire due to a backstage feud with CM Punk.
The AEW All Out Media scandal ended after CM Punk made scathing comments on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page and The Young Bucks. If CM Punk had not commented about him, then perhaps this controversy would have gone on for a long time. A backstage brawl ensued after the brawl ended, in which everyone involved was suspended.
It was also announced that Being the Elite would be on hiatus indefinitely. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that The Elite has been removed from advertising for AEW's upcoming pay-per-view by the company.
BTE’s on hiatus, they’ve been pulled from all advertising from all shows, including the pay-per-view, which is months away.
Ringside News updated fans that The Cleaner sent feelers to WWE during his injury break from AEW. Omega was also recently pulled from Sverva Strickland's podcast. Fans will have to wait until Being the Elite is back on track to see what the company plans for them next.
