Sunny Deol Announces Gabru With First Look Posters and Release Date

Mumbai, October 19 - Veteran Bollywood star Sunny Deol surprises fans by announcing a new film on his 68th birthday today. Touted as the actor's most emotional role yet, the film is titled Gabru, written and directed by Shashank Udapurkar.

Announcing the film, Sunny Deol also dropped the first look motion posters and confirmed the March 13, 2026, release in theatres worldwide. Expressing gratitude to everyone for the love and support, Sunny calls Gabru, a story of courage, conscience, and compassion, as he wrote, "Power isn't what you show, it's what you do".

Also starring Simran Bagga and Prit Kamani, Gabru is produced by Om Chhangani and Vishal Rana. The film features a soundtrack by Mithoon, Satinder Sartaaj, and Anurag Saikya, with lyrics by Sayeed Quadri. PVR Pictures will release the film.

Meanwhile, Sunny Deol has a packed schedule in 2026. He will begin the year with the hugely anticipated Border 2 (January 22), followed by Lahore 1947 in the summer, the epic Ramayana Part 1 on Diwali 2026, and Baap.
