Salman Khan To Release Battle of Galwan On Eid 2026?

Mumbai, November 24 - Superstar Salman Khan's Battle of Galwan is shaping up to be one of the biggest Bollywood films of the next year. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the war action drama has been in the news since its announcement, with buzz growing each passing day.

As the shoot of the film is nearing its end, the suspense over the release date continues to grow. Earlier, it was reported that Salman was planning to release it in June 2026 due to a packed schedule early in the year. However, the latest reports hint that it might be released early.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the superstar is toying with the idea and considering if his war film can arrive on Eid 2026. Eid has been synonymous with Salman Khan over the years, with any of his films getting released on this festival. Earlier, the actor reportedly decided not to bring BoG during the frame as there are already a couple of big movies releasing.

Currently, Yash's Toxic and Ajay Devgn's Dhamaal 4 are scheduled to hit the screens on Eid 2026. However, the postponement of Ranbir Kapoor's Love and War, which was supposed to release on this festival, might have tempted Salman to bring Battle of Galwan to his most celebrated festive slot.

There are rumours that Toxic might also get postponed due to a delay in production, even though the makers recently reconfirmed their release plans. If it indeed gets postponed, then it might be easy for Salman Khan and team to release BoG during that time, and clash with Dhamaal 4. For that, the Sultan star is seriously considering and will take a call on the same soon.

Produced by Salman Khan Films, the film is based on the events that took place between the Indian and Chinese troops at the Galwan region on June 15, 2020, when 200 Indian soldiers bravely defended their territory against a force of 1200 Chinese Liberation Army soldiers.
