Prabhas 'Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam' To Release In 2025

Hyderabad, January 3 - Superstar Prabhas is basking on the success of his action drama Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire, directed by Prashanth Neel. The movie, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, was promised a two-part story, and the first part ended with a cliffhanger which sets the stage for a big face-off between Prabhas and Sukumaran.

The title of the film's second part, Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam was revealed in the climax of the first part and now, the producer Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films has revealed details about the release of the second part.



During an interview with Pinkvilla, the producer revealed that the script of Salaar 2 is ready and the team is in the process of starting it any time. He further said that he along with Prabhas and Prashanth Neel have been discussing Salaar 2 in the last few days as the actor and director are keen to start it soon.

Vijay Kiragandur has promised that Salaar 2 will be released in 2025 as they want to make it in the next 15 months. "Salaar 1 is just a glimpse of part two. You can treat it as a trailer and part two will be a lot bigger in terms of action and scale. Salaar 2 will be like Game of Thrones with a lot of drama, politics, and action", he added.

Prabhas, meanwhile, is currently shooting for director Maruthi's horror movie, tentetivaly titled Raja Deluxe. He also has Nag Ashwin's sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD, and both the movies are expected to release in 2024. By the end of this year, the Baahubali star will also start Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit.
