Nikkita Lyons To Be Out Of Women’s NXT Breakout Tournament Due To Injury
The semifinals of the NXT Breakout Tournament happened during this week’s episode of NXT 2.0 from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
During the May 24 episode of NXT 2.0, the two semi-final matches in the Women's Breakout Tournament took place. The winners will face off at a later date with a Championship opportunity of their choosing on the line.
Prior to tonight's matches beginning, it was announced that Nikkita Lyons had suffered an injury in training and had to withdraw from the tournament. As a result, Fallon Henley was set to get a bye to the finals until she accepted a challenge from Tiffany Stratton to earn her way there instead.
In the first match, former ROH Champion Roxanne Perez defeated Lash Legend. Later in the show, Tiffany Stratton defeated Fallon Henley to book her place in the finals against Perez. Stratton went from not being in the tournament to the finals in one night.
