Mercedes Moné (Sasha Banks) Refuses To Reveal Real Reason For Leaving WWE

San Diego, 17 October - Sasha Banks vehemently refuted a popular rumor regarding her departure from WWE after a confrontation with a fan.

Banks, widely recognized for her contributions to WWE, left the company in 2022 due to creative disagreements. Since then, she and Trinity Fatu have not signed new contracts with WWE. Following her WWE exit, Banks resurfaced in NJPW/Stardom at Wrestle Kingdom 17 in January 2023, adopting the ring name Mercedes Mone.



Currently, she is on the sidelines, recovering from an injury that has kept her out of in-ring action for months. Speculation is rife that she might make her return to NJPW and potentially join AEW once she is cleared to return.

Recently, while engaging with a fan at a signing event, Mone addressed questions about her WWE departure in a heated exchange. When asked about the treatment she received from NJPW and whether creative issues led to her leaving WWE, Mone responded, "So, is that the reason?"

The fan insisted that this was indeed the reason, based on what they had read. Mone countered by saying, "Oh, that's what you read. But you weren't present, so no."
