Here is the list of the best-selling automobiles by class.

Tesla Model 3 is the best-selling car in All-electric car; it has sold over 1,000,000 by June 2021 since its inception.

Since January 2020 is the world's all-time best-selling battery electric car and also the top-selling passenger car in the more general category of plug-in electric vehicles. It surpassed the Nissan Leaf (450,000 units up until December 2019).
