Aayushmann Khurran and Rashmika Mandanna's Thamma Gets Official Release Date

Mumbai, September 26 - After months of anticipation, the release date of Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna's much-awaited horror-comedy Thamma has finally been locked. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film will be released on October 21, on the occasion of the Diwali festival.

The release date was confirmed with the trailer, which was launched on September 26 during an event. The trailer is packed with horror, suspense, and comedy, promising another blockbuster ride in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. The movie also confirmed a cameo of Varun Dhawan's Bhediya.

Thamma has been in the news ever since it was announced, primarily because of its fresh pairing of Ayushmann and Rashmika, who are collaborating for the first time, along with the movie's connection with Maddock's horror comedy universe. It is the 5th movie in MHCU.

Thamma is touted to be the first bloody love story of MHCU. Also starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal, Thamma is expected to draw audiences across regions during the festival of lights. The team is gearing up for an aggressive promotional campaign in the coming weeks to build further excitement ahead of its grand release.
